Its pretty simple, spray the whole bucket and seat with an appropriate cleaner and rinse thoroughly with hot water, preferably in an isolated area. It does stay cleaner longer when you use the DD bags.

11) Can you “snap on” the lid when you want to move it to avoid spillage?
The lid isn’t air or liquid tight, so its best to be overly cautious and brave when performing this untidy task.
